Wildlife Awareness
Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be found on and around this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash and cooking supplies. Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

Cancellation Policy :
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.
Cancellation Deadlines:
 RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call CWF by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation Details:
• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. 

Golf Cart Policy:
Guests must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Pet Policy:
We are happy to welcome your pets at CWF. Please keep pets attended and on a leash. We ask that you clean up after your pets. 
There is a fee for pets not being cleaned up after.

Vehicle Policy:
A maximum of 2 vehicles are permitted at each site. All guests must register vehicles at the registration office.

Visitor Policy:
Overnight guests must pay a $10 fee at the Registration Office. And $10 per vehicle.

Trash Policy:
Dumpsters are available for your convenience.

Speed Limit
Campground speed limit is 5mph. Please be cautious of your surroundings.

Who needs four walls when you've got mountains, fresh air, and a good cup of camp coffee?

Stephen Sullivan, affectionately known as "Sulli," joined the KOA family after retiring from a distinguished 23-year career in law enforcement. Embracing the RV lifestyle, he spent several years traveling the country with his wife and enjoying the freedom of retirement as a part-time work kamper. But it wasn't long before Sulli realized that full-time relaxation wasn't for him—he missed the sense of purpose and connection that came with work.
Returning to the workforce full-time, Sulli brought his leadership skills and passion for the camping lifestyle to KOA campgrounds across the country. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Rockport/Corpus Christi KOA Holiday in Texas. With a move north, Sulli has stepped into the role of General Manager at the Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain KOA Holiday.
Now based in Wilmington, NY, Sulli and his wife are excited to bring even more camping opportunities to the area through Camp Whiteface Mountain. They enjoy being part of the local community and look forward to helping campers create memorable experiences in the heart of the Adirondacks.
